Hey, I'm Birgit Wahlhäuser, interior designer and passionate vintage lover.

My design orientation is heavily influenced by Scandinavian aesthetics. This shapes me in all aspects of my life.

For several years now I have been spending my summer months in Sweden, where I enjoy looking for unique pieces at flea markets and antique shops.

This passion led me to found Eklund , a shop where vintage and Scandinavian design harmoniously merge. Here you will find design highlights that I have lovingly selected, which not only tell a story, but also embody the timeless Scandinavian style.

I also want to contribute to a more sustainable lifestyle by rediscovering these vintage treasures.
